South Korea pledges $590m to Africa over two years
The South Korean government has pledged more support to African countries by extending $590m in aid and loans over the next two years at the Korea Africa Economic Co-operation Conference (Koafec) last week.
The conference focused on building infrastructure, developing natural and human resources, and supporting agriculture and green growth on the African continent. A detailed action plan was agreed among the dozens of finance ministers and heads of African nations and main international organisations.
